Membership eligibility and process are governed by the ANC Youth League Constitution and current organisational procedures.
Eligibility
The supplied Constitution states that membership is open to South African youth between the ages of 14 and 35 who accept the League’s policy guidelines, aims and objectives.
Application process
The supplied Constitution provides for applications to be considered through the relevant branch, or through the regional structure where a branch executive does not exist. Membership records and status should be managed through authorised organisational systems and structures.

Use current ANCYL organisational channels to confirm the active application route, fees and payment details before submitting personal information or making a payment.
Privacy: do not send identity numbers or other membership data through ordinary public contact channels unless the ANCYL has designated that channel for membership processing.
